Session I 9:30am – 12 pm Water Resources in a Changing World: Understanding Impacts on Water Quantity and Quality This session will analyze the importance of water quantity and quality, how water availability and contamination can affect human health, and the practical steps that can be taken to provide, protect and conserve this vital resource. Participants will gain a better understanding of the connection between safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and waterborne disease prevention, while learning strategies for promoting healthier and more sustainable water practices.
Session II 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm Exploring Community Risks, Resilience, and Response. Mental Health Mitigation, Prevention and Support This session is focused on understanding mental health, recognizing early warning signs, and enabling emotional well-being. Learn about common challenges, healthy coping strategies, the importance of seeking support, and practical ways to build resilience and maintain positive mental health.
